10 Questions That Will Help You Live Your Dream

1. Am I doing what I can to live the life I want to be living?

Are you doing everything you can to live your life to the fullest? Every day you have the choice to either accept the life you’re living, or you can start acting on your dreams. Allowing yourself to stay in that zone of simply existing won’t get you any closer to your dream life. If you’re struggling to make drastic changes in your daily routine, start off by doing at least one thing each day that’ll help you reach your goals.

2. Are my actions inspiring others?

What value are you adding to the lives around you? You can make the choice to make changes in your life in order to be a better role model. Make choices as if you have an audience. Make decisions based on how you want to others to perceive you. Make sure your decisions align with your vision and how you present yourself to the world. Just don’t get too caught up in how others see you.  The role model inside of you should first and foremost be a person that YOU want to be. Only then can you inspire others.

3. Am I surrounding myself with people who add value to my life?

The first step to adding value in your life is making sure you surround yourself with people who add value to your life. Are your friends and family supportive of you? Do they treat you the way you want to be treated? If not, you may want to consider cutting ties with those people. Find yourself a group who will lift you up and make you strive to be a better person. Find people who will motivate you and help you through tough times. Those are the kind of people who will consistently add value to your life.

4. Am I a follower, or do I listen to my own intuition?

Are you the kind of person who blindly follows someone else’s orders? Or do you march to the beat of your own drum? I can empathize with my fellow followers. I used to struggle with the same thing. I hit a point where I was sick of following someone else’s orders and I broke free. Breaking free from the chain helped me move on to live my dream life.

5. What could I start doing to improve the quality of my life?

Is your life as good as you want it to be? If not, changing the quality of your life lies within you. You have control over how you react to things. If your day goes bad, you can either choose to be a victim and wonder why, or you can learn from the mistakes you made and move on. Making small shifts in your mindset can improve your quality of life.

6. What inspires me?

Your inspiration is constantly changing. You find new people, places, and things throughout your life that’ll spark your interest. What inspires you? You might find inspiration in your family or by reading books. Search for your inspiration to help you find your motivation.

7. What parts of my life don’t reflect who I am?

Everyone has made mistakes in their life. Think about all those parts in your life that don’t reflect who you are or who you want to be. Look back on those mistakes and learn from them.

8. Am I on the right path?

Think about where you want to be in 5, 10, 25, or 50 years. Are you taking actions every day that will allow you to achieve your dream life? Think about your goals down the road and envision what you want your life to look like one day. If you’re having trouble envisioning the future, create a vision board that will inspire you and help you find clarity.

9. What do I love about myself?

Think about your best traits. What do you truly love about yourself? You may find your kindness shines through to other people, or perhaps you’re a hard worker! When you struggle with self-love, try looking at yourself in the mirror and say some affirmations. Nothing can help my mood faster than affirmations and meditation.

10. What do I want to be remembered for?

What do you want people to remember about you? You have the power to change how you present yourself to others. Do you want to be known as the girl who keeps to herself, or the girl who is kind and caring?

Keep in mind that your life is in your hands. In order to live your ideal life, you’re going to have to make some changes. You can either accept the life you’re living now, or you can put in the effort to change your life for the better. That choice begins with you and your beliefs.
